An explorer by nature, my inner callings to make sense of my world have flung me wide –Africa, India, Latin America and the former Soviet Union, including a three-week International Peace March to the nuclear testing ground at Semipalatinsk – often accompanied only by a Lonely Planet Guide.
In the wake of the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center and the retaliatory bombing of Afghanistan, my response was to create The Lysistrata Project. Over time it has evolved from a fiery call to women to reject war to a portal for peace and consciousness resources.
Earth is my beloved and sacred home. I live in San Francisco with my equally curious cat Pahti, who accompanied me home from a sojourn in Mexico.
All else that’s vital will show up in the posts…
